Ever Yours helps couples share their wedding with the people they love. This policy explains what personal data we collect from couples and their guests, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Ever Yours (“we”, “us”) is a service run by MMH Systems Development Ltd, a company in Cyprus. For couples’ accounts we decide how personal data is used, so we are the data controller. You can reach us through our contact form.
Each couple decides what their wedding page asks guests for and who receives invitations. For guest information we act on the couple’s behalf, and they are responsible for having a good reason to collect it.
2. What we collect
From couples
- Account details: your names, email address and password. Passwords are stored by Firebase Authentication and we never see them. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
- Wedding details: everything you add to your page, such as dates, venues, your story, schedule, dress code, registry and accommodation.
- Photos and videos: cover photos, gallery photos and videos, and dress code inspiration you upload.
- Voice assistant calls (Premium): if you fill in your page by talking, what you say is turned into text to fill in your details. Recordings of your voice are not kept; the written transcript is deleted after 30 days.
- Guest list: names and email addresses you add or import to send invitations.
- Payments: Stripe processes card details and we never see or store them. We keep a record of what you bought, the amount and your Stripe customer reference.
- Reviews: if you review Ever Yours, your star rating, your words and the name you choose to be credited with. Once we approve a review it may appear publicly on our website. You can edit or delete it at any time from your dashboard.
From guests
- RSVP answers: your name, whether you are attending, any plus-one, meal choice, notes and messages to the couple.
- Dietary needs and allergies: only if you choose to tell the couple. This can reveal health information, so it is shared with the couple alone and used only so they can cater for you.
- Photos and videos you upload to the couple’s gallery.
- Your email address, if the couple sent you an invitation through Ever Yours.
When you contact us
Your name, email address and message, kept so we can answer you and follow up. To stop abuse of the form, we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address, deleted automatically soon afterwards.
From your device
We do not use advertising cookies. Your browser stores a few small items needed for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in, remembering that you have unlocked a wedding page, and your language choice. Analytics cookies are used only if you allow them, as Cookies and analytics explains.
Like any website, our hosting and servers automatically log technical details of each visit, such as your internet (IP) address, browser and the pages requested, so we can keep the service secure and working.
3. How we use it
- To run your account and show your wedding page to the guests you share it with (to perform our contract with you).
- To take payment and keep the records the law requires (contract and legal obligation).
- To send invitation emails on the couple’s instruction, and to email couples about their account and purchases.
- To provide AI writing and design when you ask for it. We send only the text or photo you choose to the AI service.
- To show your review on our website, when you have agreed to it (consent you can withdraw by deleting the review).
- To understand how visitors find and use our website so we can improve it, only if you allow analytics cookies (consent you can withdraw at any time).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems (our legitimate interest).
6. International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
Wedding pages are event sites. Event sites are temporary, and a site may close at any time after the event.
- Guest data: RSVPs (including any dietary notes), the couple’s invitation list and passcode records are deleted automatically 12 months after the wedding. We email the couple at least 30 days beforehand, so they can download their RSVPs as a spreadsheet (CSV) first.
- The page and its photos stay until the couple deletes them, the account is deleted or the page closes.
- Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
- Reviews are kept until you delete them or your account is deleted.
Couples can delete RSVPs, invitations and photos at any time, and can ask us to delete their whole account and page. When an account is deleted we remove its data within 30 days, apart from payment records, which we keep for as long as tax law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, ask us to limit or stop using it, and withdraw consent you have given. Send your request through our contact form and we will reply within one month.
If you are a guest, you can also ask the couple directly, since they control what is collected on their page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy) or to the authority in your own country.
9. Security
All traffic is encrypted, wedding pages are protected by a passcode, and our database rules limit each account to its own wedding. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password and passcode private.
10. Children
Accounts are for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. A couple may list children as guests, and should share only what is needed.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make a significant change we will update the date above and email couples with an account. Earlier versions are available on request.
